Time for some Bhindi Paneer Masala. Can’t wait to eat.
Bhindi – 250 gms ( Cut into 1/2 inch round shapes)
1/4 cup crumbled paneer (cottage cheese) ( Freshly prepared at home by adding half a lemon juice into ½ liter boiled milk then strain the curdled milk and collect the paneer after the whey is sepated from the paneer )or use grated readymade paneer of any brand
1/4 cup finely chopped onions or 1 big onion cut into small square shapes
7-8 cloves of garlic chopped finely
2 big tomatoes cut into small square shapes
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 pinch Turmeric powder
salt to taste
For The Garnish
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
Take a deep bottomed pan.
Heat a kadhai. Add oil.
Then add cumin and wait till the cumin stops crackling.
Then add the chopped bhindi , onion and garlic.
Add salt, turmeric powder,black pepper powder and chilli powder.
Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
Saute till bhindi is half done .
Then add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the paneer .
Mix well and then cook for 5-6 minutes till bhindi is cooked .
Then add the garam masala.
Remove from heat.
Serve immediately garnished with fresh coriander leaves .
Enjoy with chapati or rice.
